Topsoils
At Kiwi Civil, we believe in honesty, so here it is: Weed free topsoil is a myth. To create weed free soil it would need to be brought to temperatures that would kill valuable microorganisms within the soil, leaving behind sterile dirt that won’t achieve the results you’re after. Often sold as the perfect solution, it’s the perfect problem.
Screened Waikato Topsoil - Fantastic for vege gardens and high-end landscaping. Boastfully, we believe this is the best topsoil in the market. Screened to 5m and undergoes stringent soil testing. High in minerals and nutrients, miniscule weed seeds with self-seeding pasture.
Great for landscaping, contouring, and filling up low areas of lawn and gardens. Has trace amounts of non-harmful contaminants and is low in minerals, with high levels of clay.
Sand and Mulch
Sourcing our sand from areas in or around the Waikato River, Kiwi Civil offer:
Ideal for mixing through soils and fertiliser to assist drainage.
Concrete sand, great for plastering, masonry, brick and block laying and rendering.
Processed with children’s safety in mind, this ultra-fine blend is the perfect addition to your outdoor play space projects.

Boulders
Mined from local quarries, basalt quarried boulders have more flat faces and edges and are more uniform in colour, shape, and size. Great for scour protection, riprap driveway edging, slope stabilisation, and bank reinforcing.
These natural boulders have more of a volcanic look to them. These boulders are decorative and are used as features in gardens and landscapes.

Fine aggregate sand; compact for use as a base layer under pavers or before laying concrete.
Suitable for driveways, pathways, or as a base course for concrete and paving. Binds together well once compacted.
GAP40
Metal aggregate – great for a base metal for under metal driveways, under paving or as a base layer under concrete. Also handy for filling in potholes in the driveway.
GAP65
Heavier grade fill - base course for roading, building sites, and soft ground stability.
Drainage 20/7
Required when laying permeable paving, free from finer material.
Drainage 20/40
Clean metal with great drainage qualities. Ideal metal behind retaining walls, for trenching, and soaking drains.
Sealing Chip (back in stock Late July)
For use in chip sealing and asphalt mixes – complies with TNZ M6-2019 specification.
Recycled Metal/Gravel
Where Kiwi Civil Solutions shines is in our commitment to the re-use of fill, metals, and gravel. 100% of our waste is recycled. Reducing the amount of demolished concrete going to landfill by repurposing crushed concrete into recycled product, Kiwi Civil can reduce new raw material use. This has huge impacts over the span of a year, and we take pride in being one of the industry leaders in this space.

Asphalt Road Millings 20
Recycled asphalt millings from removed paved areas. Unlike traditional asphalt, asphalt milling is much more durable than gravel, low maintenance, and can last 20-30 years without requiring resurfacing.
Tipping and Recycling
Whether you require once off or regular tipping, Kiwi Civil can help reduce the costs. Aiming to recycle 100% of what is tipped into our yard, we accept:
Dirty Topsoil Tipping
Topsoil which is contaminated with grass, rocks, stones, bits of wood, trees, greenery etc.
Clay/Clean-fill Tipping
Clean clay with some rocks and stones, with no topsoil or organic contamination.
Spoil (clay + soil mixed) Tipping
Topsoil and clay mixed together, not really topsoil or clay, but a “spoilt” mix which will be used as infill.
Concrete Tipping
Clean concrete tipping, for old driveway and house/garage/garden slabs. Extra charges apply for concrete with steel reinforcing.
